I just bought a White 2009 A4 2.0T. Its really nice. The Tiptronice is nice.. no lag. I cant wait for mods. I called AWE and was about the first to ask them for exhaust modifications for the newly speced A4. they should have stuff next year.

Nope, I am a poor college student soon to graduate. If I had the money for a new A4 I still wouldn’t get one. I think the best time to buy a car is when it is two years old as it is generally a third the original MSRP. As to my reaction and strong interest in whether or not I could get this car in stick is because I am odd, and a manual transmission means something to me. I hate the idea of one day getting a lovely German vehicle and it no longer being an option. It terrifies me really

You can blame audi …
You can blame audi usa product planner Filip Brabec for the lack of manual trans. According to him the sale volumes for niche offerings like v6 manual or s4 avant manual aren’t worth selling them here in the states. The problem is, Audi has become so bent on surpassing merc and bmw in sales they’ve forgotten about the same niche demographic that got them through the early years.

Hahaha wow, V4 thats hilarious…i dont know what kind of cars youre driving. there is I4 and a V6 available. The I4 is better for mods because of the turbo and more room because there is less engine.

Yeah I was so ed I called up Audi of North America and got the dirt. For some reason they are releasing the manuals months later…They should have done the polar opposite. Not only are manuals more fuel economical, it also provides better stimulus and control to a true enthusiast. Automatics are gay…Unless its the S8. The S6 should come in stick. Audi is not Merc, they should not shun their consumers as they have in my opinion.
