I’ve figured it out …
I’ve figured it out. If you turn the trip meter reset pin clockwise and anti-clockwise it adjusts the brightness of all the lights in the cab. Much better for night time driving.

You can adjust the dashboard lighting level, can’t remember off the top of my head how to do it but just fiddle with the two reset pins next to the clocks and it wont take you long to figure it out.

Cars are smart as …
Cars are smart as it user. If you do all the maintenance on it, it shall last a long time. I have an old Chevy s10 P/U, old Volvo, and a Honda Accord. I don’t put cheap stuff in any of them. The front of the Audi A4 catches my eye definitely. I like the old school “Audi quattro” drop a turbo in that you’ve got a beast or rally car.

You talk about japanese cars but all of you drive them in usa on the highways and the wear and tear to the components is lower than in europe,mostly eastern europe.We have a diesel B5 facelift and now it has about 140.000 miles without a problem and the roads here are prety bad.Audis are very realiable cars.If you buy a B5 or a B6 you will not have problems if you drive carefully.Japanese cars have the highest level of reliability but here in europe they don’t last like the ones in USA.
