a new evo or even fairly new one will cost the same or a little less then a base 2.0TFSI A4…..certinly not 10,000 less. your pricing is “flawed”

Volkswagen/Audi wouldnt have tuned the 2.0TSFI the way it is now if it were N/A…of course it will make “only 132hp” without a turbo. if tuned to be N/A it would be more like the narrow angle VR6, higher compression ratio,more revs, etc etc and make alot more hp, granted the engine’s character would be quite different. so saying this engine would only have 132hp really doesnt mean .

it was top of the line 14 years ago. Your logic is flawed, comparing a new car to an old car. By your logic, I could start criticising my neighbor’s 1968 lamborghini miura because its a supercar that’s got a V12 and makes 345 BHP yet its slower than my 98 SC400 and probably slower than a new Audi A4 2.0T.

I know two different class cars are being compared.. the Audi is a family sedan.. thats it. And it’s an a4.. the lowest of the lows audi has to offer. Vs a top of the line sporty lexus.

You are missing the point. Who CARES if its ‘force inducted’.. thas how the factory designed it to be ran. It came from the FACTORY like that. Quit using that ricer argument. And if you knew anything about audi’s, they dont run 5psi (actually, most cars that I know of that are boosted from the factory aren’t), and the turbo on that audi is the size of your fist. Quit using “but if” crap. It is what it is.

This is a 94′ vs an 07′. If you want to be fair about it, that SC should be running with the new 380 HP Lexus 4.6L V8.

Sorry buddy, I agree the Audi A4 is a very nice car, but your entire arguement is flawed. You are simply comparing two different class cars from two completely different class eras. I could buy a Lancer Evo for $10,000 less than an A4 and absolutely destroy it in a drag race. Does that mean the Audi A4 sucks? Of course not. They are just completely different designed cars.
