I’m sure Aston would never be able to overcome German manufacturing but I’ve heard their build quality has substantially increased after they became an independent company.

i would agree …
i would agree actually. i think both look good, but the r8 doesn’t have a “class” appearance as Aston’s.
R8’s probably a better drive though.
Reliability is an issue too, how good are the Vantage’s record?

I would much rather …
I would much rather have the Audi R8 than the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The AM is much more expensive slower Audi R8.

I would rather get the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The R8 is too flamboyant.
